As a group of physios and GP's from around the UK, we have been working with the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS) to reduce the time to diagnosis for Axial Spondyloarthritis from 8.5 years to 1 year. To celebrate the end of our 2-year project and express our gratitude to NASS for their unwavering support, we have embarked on a virtual tour of the coast of Britain, covering a distance of 6835 miles. Exercise is crucial in managing axial spondyloarthritis, but there is still much more that needs to be done. This painful and debilitating inflammatory spinal condition affects young individuals in their prime, disrupting their ability to build careers and families while hindering their desire to be active and enjoy life. Early diagnosis can be life-changing, enabling a return to normalcy; however, delayed diagnosis exacerbates both the physical and psychological impact on individuals. Through this challenge, our aim is to raise awareness about this condition and provide essential financial support to NASS for their remarkable work in assisting patients living with this condition.
