Story
On 22nd June I’ll be doing something I genuinely never thought I’d agree to… jumping out of a plane.
As most people who know me will tell you, I am absolutely terrified of heights (I crawled at the top of the Eiffel Tower 😅) Which is exactly why this feels like such a huge challenge for me personally.
But sometimes the things that scare us most are worth doing when it’s for a cause that really matters.
I’m taking part in this skydive alongside colleagues from Prestige Recruitment Specialists to help raise money for Hull Children’s University, an incredible organisation that works to improve the lives and aspirations of children and young people across our area.
Hull Children’s University gives young people opportunities to learn, grow in confidence, discover new experiences and believe in their own potential. The work they do can genuinely change lives, especially for children who may not otherwise get access to these opportunities.
So while I’ll probably be questioning every life decision I’ve ever made at 10,000 feet, I know it’s for something far bigger than my fear.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I’d be hugely grateful. Every contribution will help support the fantastic work Hull Children’s University does for local children and families.
And if nothing else… your donation will at least make my panic worthwhile.
Thank you so much for your support.
