Story
On October 4th 2025 we lost my mam, Kate, to bladder cancer. During this period, St Cuthberts Hospice supported both her and us, making her as comfortable as possible in the final weeks of her life.
This year I will be running the Great North Run in memory of my mam and would like to use this opportunity to raise some funds to give back to St Cuthberts so that they can help other families like mine.
St Cuthbert’s Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and the bereaved. We make no charge for our services, ensuring Hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running.
