Against my better judgement, I'm aiming to run The Great West Run half marathon on 25th May. It'll be my second ever half marathon, and first in over 10 years!

I'm raising money for a fantastic local charity: Sidmouth Hospice at Home.

The charity funds a team of 12 specialist palliative care nurses that provide free end of life care to patients at home, rather than in a hospice or hospital ward setting, along with compassionate support for their family members too.

They are entirely funded by donations alone, and whilst the 'Sidmouth Model' is considered to represent excellent value and an exemplary service, in the next year it will cost more than £900k to care for those in need in their Sid Valley community.

The demand for their care continues to grow, and with it the need for support. Every donation makes a difference. Thank you so much!
