Hi again everyone! I never expected to be writing this but somehow, despite my experience of running the Spine Challenger MRT South last Jan, I have found myself signed up to run the North this coming January, again for charity. This race is a ridiculous 160 miles over the most rugged and inhospitable sections of the Pennine Way and I am only doing it to raise money and awareness of two charities that are very close to me; Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association and Hero Paws.

Hero Paws is a fantastic charity that supports people who have been brave enough to rehome a retired military working dog that couldn’t, or would struggle to live in a normal home environment. We have a RMWD as some of you may know, and they deserve a safe and comfortable life after serving our Country.

UWFRA is the local Mountain Rescue team that I volunteer for, saving humans and animals in trouble on the fells in our part of North Yorkshire.

If you feel you can donate any pennies to either charity I would be very grateful. I have one page for each charity as you can’t combine the two!
