Story
Hello Everyone,
On the 24th of October I am taking on the challenge of UK's toughest marathon, Marathon Eryri in Snowdonia's national park, North Wales.
I am doing this to raise vital funds for Headway Gloucestershire.
As some of you know I work for Headway Gloucestershire and in the past have lost both parents to brain injuries. So this much needed charity is very close to my heart.
I have seen first-hand the incredible services and support Headway Gloucestershire give to people with acquired brain injuries, their families, friends and carers. A vital charity needed in the Gloucestershire community.
Marathon training can be hard. I am currently spending my early mornings and weekends pushing through the heat, long miles, sore legs and a recovering fractured ankle. But knowing that every mile of training helps support Headway Gloucestershire keeps me moving forward.
