A friend of mine Paul Dean (4th from left on photo) was diagnosed in 2021with EHE Cancer. A ultra rare cancer with over 50 tumours spread across his liver and lungs which have grown up to 6.4cm in diameter. Paul is a very active guy and he has been doing everything including health and fitness, keeping active and clean eating to give himself the best possible chance in the face of a pretty gloomy prognosis. Anyone who knows Paul, knows him as a very happy go lucky guy who is always smiling and has such positive energy.

To support Paul, I will be doing AJ Bell Great Birmingham Half Marathon (Sun 3rd May 2026) on behalf of EHE Rare Cancer charity to help raise awareness and funds for them to continue their work in developing treatments and long term, a cure. The charity have been very good to Paul thus far helping him through a difficult time.
