Paul's story

In 2021 I was diagnosed with a very difficult diagnosis, EHE Cancer, an ultra rare cancer with over 50 tumours spread across my liver and lungs and have grown up to 6.4cm in diameter. I have been doing everything I can to help my health and fitness, keeping active and clean eating to give myself the best possible chance in the face of a pretty gloomy prognosis.

As part of this I will be doing Birmingham Half Marathon on behalf of EHE Rare Cancer charity to help raise funds for them to continue their work in developing treatments and long term, a cure. The charity have been very good to me helping me through a difficult time so this is my time to give something back.

I'll also be running with a lot of friends and family and supporters along the way and I know it will be a great day!
