Communication is one of the most important aspects of our lives, because it allows us to share our feelings, thoughts, and ideas with others and allows us to build relationships and connect with others. Following a stroke, more than 350,000 people in the UK are affected by communication challenges and this can impact their confidence, their recovery and overall quality of life.

Today charities are increasingly reliant on donations to keep them going so Tracey and I have decided to drag ourselves around the Wolf Run in Warwickshire on September 2nd in order to raise some much needed funding for Talk Surrey. Talk Surrey is an amazing charity that offers long-term communication and social support for people with aphasia and their families in Surrey.
