Story

Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the UK. Around 1 in 4 people will experience suicidal thoughts in their lifetime, and approximately 20 people die by suicide every day.

I’m taking part in the Step Up for Suicide Prevention Challenge to turn movement into life-saving impact.

Most suicides are preventable with the right support. Every pound raised helps fund work to reach more people in crisis and and save more lives from suicide.

This fundraising is in memory of Elliot Alder, the son of a good friend of mine, who sadly took his own life in April.

Grassroots suicide prevention is a charity that gives those who are struggling hope, a place to get help when the world feels dark.

I'd appreciate your support in ensuring Elliot did not die in vain, let's together try and make a difference.
