Pancreatic Cancer is awful! And so little funds still go towards research. Only 5% of people with Pancreatic cancer survive over 5 years and half lose their battle within 3 months.

Lorna's dad, Steve Coates, nearly did a year but it was a very tough year. When he got poorly, Lorna made it her mission to find out exactly what this form of cancer was all about and she did not like what she was finding.

So now it’s her mission to raise awareness of Pancreatic cancer and raise much needed funds as I go about it.

After the Great North Run, Lorna said ‘never again’ to a half marathon! However I persuaded her and were being joined by a few friends 😊
