Pancreatic Cancer is awful! And so little funds still go towards research. Only 5% of people with Pancreatic cancer survive over 5 years and half lose their battle within 3 months.

My dad, Steve Coates, nearly did a year but it was a very tough year. When dad get poorly, I made it my mission to find out exactly what this form of cancer was all about and I did not like what I was finding.

So now it’s my mission to raise awareness of Pancreatic cancer and raise much needed funds as I go about it.

After the Great North Run, I said ‘never again’ to a half marathon! However my good friend Treena persuaded me and were being joined by a few friends 😊
