Following on from our unfortunate postponement of the marathon row on 29th April, we are now excited to announce that Trinity College Boat Club will be completing their marathon row on Monday 19th June!

On Monday 19th June 2023, 2 eight-person crews fromTrinity College Boat Club will attempt to complete a fundraising marathon row from the OUBC Boathouse in Wallingford, back to the College Boathouses in Oxford!

The crews will row as a pair of boats navigating seven locks between Wallingford and Oxford: Benson, Days, Clifton, Culham, Abingdon, Sandford and Iffley. It is envisaged that the event will take approx. six hours to complete subject to conditions!

The aim of this event is for each crew to raise £1,200 in sponsorship which will support a junior bursary position at Fulham Reach Boat Club (FRBC). Each bursary gives a young person the opportunity to row for 1 year full funded.
