My name is Kelly and I run True Motion Dance, a dance school based in North Norfolk. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I can't explain how scary that was. I was terrified about what may lie ahead, and I had fears of not being there to watch my 7 year old grow up. The wonderful charity 'Breast Cancer Now' made it easier for me to find reliable information, via their website and talking to nurses on their helpline and allowed me to connect with others going through the same thing. They helped me through the hardest time of my life, and I know they help many others.

I took a few months off dancing for treatment and recovery, but now I'm back to dancing and want to raise money for this amazing charity, to help make life-changing breast cancer research and support happen.

Part of our fundraising involves a dance class for dancers and their families, or indeed anyone who would like to help a great cause. We will also be taking part in Sheringham carnival parade, throwing pink holi paint and handing out information about breast cancer symptoms.
