Story

Join us as we embark on a transformative journey at "A Night in the Nave Sleep Out at Peterborough Cathedral 2026". This event is not just a sleep out; it is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with those who face the harsh realities of homelessness every night. By participating, we aim to raise both awareness and vital funds for Light Project Peterborough (LPP), an organization dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and those in need within our community.

In the past year alone, LPP has made a remarkable impact, supporting 989 people at the Garden House, helping 576 individuals transition from the streets into safe accommodation, and welcoming 495 new faces through their doors. Their commitment extends beyond immediate shelter; they run essential projects such as the Homeless Health Hub, Homeless Health Peer Advocacy, Street Chaplaincy, Peterborough Night Shelter, and Across Peterborough. These initiatives are crucial in providing comprehensive support to those who need it most.

We invite you to be part of this meaningful cause by making a donation to our fundraising page. Our target is £2,000, which will directly contribute to LPP's ongoing efforts to change lives in Peterborough. Your generosity can help us make a significant difference and bring hope to those who need it most. Together, let’s illuminate the path towards a brighter future for our community.
