As UEA Kayak we paddle across the Norwich area relying on the Norfolk rivers. We as a club make sure to be carbon neutral and ensure we collect all litter we may find on the river. Yet we frequently see issues caused by pollution, invasive species, mistreatment by members of the public and a variety of other problems.

It is hard to see the rivers we love so much being damaged. This is where the vital work of the Norfolk Rivers Trust comes in. The Norfolk Rivers Trust, through a variety of conservation and restoration measures, land management and farm advice and education and engagement, seek to restore, protect and enhance the water environments of Norfolk.

Over the next semester we will be holding a variety of events to raise money for this important cause.
