University YMCA 100-Mile Run

Cassidy Inamasu is raising money for YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties
We will be running 100 miles in 24 hours to raise funds for teen leadership programs! You can support the 100-mile journey from the Haselwood Family YMCA in Silverdale to the Gordon Family YMCA in Sumner by making a donation or becoming a sponsor tod

Story

Last year, our runners (Neil, Garth, and Amos) ran part of the 100-mile relay from Lakewood to University YMCA. They made it possible for one foster youth to access the Y for a whole year!

This year, our super member Neil, has committed to running the longer portion of the 100-miles as part of a relay with other members.

Amos (Y Coach), Ethan (UWT Student) and other members will join him for the Lakewood to University YMCA portion.

Why $3,000? The Y provides free membership for all foster youth and at the University YMCA, we currently serve 7 youth. We know we will support at least one more this year, but probably more. Through our Rally for the Y bike ride earlier this year, we raised enough to cover 3 youth. The $3,000 goal for the 100-mile run will cover the remaining 4+1 foster youth!

Join us in funding this opportunity for foster youth and show them that the community has their back!
