Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·

Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes support integration, employability and personal development. We welcome refugees & adults from migrant communities, supporting around 500 learners. We train around 60 dedicated volunteers who help us run community classes.

Story

Hey guys,

Myself and my lovely colleagues are raising money for the work we do with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants who are learning English in their communities in Glasgow.

Our goal is to raise funds to support our community English classes, which are a lifeline for refugees seeking to improve their language skills and gain confidence in their new lives as New Scots.

English classes provide the necessary tools for communication and integration, enabling individuals to connect with others and navigate daily life with ease. By supporting our cause, you are directly contributing to the empowerment of refugees and helping them build a brighter future.

I will be doing the Mighty Stride - covering 22 miles. As we embark on this challenging journey through blisters and breathtaking landscapes towards Loch Lomond, I would be filled with gratitude for your generous donations.

Thank you in advance for your support!
