Val and Celia have been friends for over 40 years and still regularly cycle together. We are both members of our local community cycling group. Horwich Ride Social.

We are both in our 78th year, and together with our community cycling group, we are taking on a personal challenge: a 78 kilometre bike ride on Sunday 27 September 2026. This ride is a celebration of friendship, fitness, and the power of coming together for a cause that matters.

We are proud to be fundraising for Derian House Children's Hospice, a charity that provides vital care and support for children and families when they need it most. Their work brings comfort, dignity, and hope, and we want to help make sure that support continues for every family who needs it.
