Now in our fifth year, Marc and I are back to do GameBlast 2026! As usual, we're bringing yet another new way to play, this time doing an online Metroid Archipelago! Marc will be playing Metroid Prime and I will be playing Super Metroid. The problem is, our items are in each other's games! Come watch us struggle, and support if you can!

SpecialEffect put fun and inclusion into the lives of people with physical disabilities, enabling them to play video games & access technology with whichever part(s) of their body they can use best.

By adapting technology from modified joypads to eye-control, we find a way for people to play to the best of their abilities, bringing families and friends together & having a profoundly positive impact on confidence, rehabilitation and quality of life. We also work with eye-control, helping those completely paralysed & unable to speak to communicate just by moving their eyes.
