Whirlybird Walkies 2026 for GNAAS
During the month of May I’ve persuaded my humans Vic & Si to join me in walking 90 miles to raise funds to support the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
Sixteen years ago the wonderful people from GNAAS saved the life of someone very dear to us, it is our pleasure to cheerfully walk 90 miles to raise some funds to help continue this amazing service. Watch this space for progress reports!
We would be delighted if you would consider supporting this wonderful cause The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 2,083 call outs in 2024 alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.
