I will be giving up all chocolate for a month!! In support and to raise money for the National kidney federation.
The National Kidney Federation (NKF), established in 1978, is run by kidney patients to support kidney patients and their families across the UK with two main roles - patient support and campaigning.
It runs the only FREE UK Helpline dedicated to kidney patients with two fully trained, experienced advisers providing a 5-day-per-week service to kidney patients, carers, healthcare professionals and renal units.
The Charity run by kidney patients for kidney patients, the charity supports 3.5 million people with Chronic Kidney Disease and 60,000 patients who have end stage kidney failure. The charity also supports Dialysis and Transplanted patients and their carers.
The NKF offers a National Kidney Patients Helpline 0800 169 0936 offering medical information leaflets, help and advice - with trained staff answering around 200 calls a week.
