Why I'm Running the London Marathon for HEART UK
This April, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon 2026 as part of #TeamHEARTUK – and I need your support.
I’m running for HEART UK – The Cholesterol Charity – to raise vital funds and awareness for a cause that affects nearly 1 in 2 adults in the UK: high cholesterol. It’s a hidden risk that can lead to heart attacks, strokes and vascular dementia – but with the right support, it’s also preventable.
This is a subject close to my heart; in the past I have struggled to keep my cholesterol levels in the green and amber zones. I am working hard to reduce cholesterol through lifestyle choices . The work HEART UK do in the space saves lives.
HEART UK is a small charity making a big impact – offering expert advice, campaigning for earlier diagnosis, and supporting families with inherited conditions like familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH). They receive no government funding, so donations like yours genuinely keep them going.
Please sponsor me if you can – every pound makes a difference.
Together, we can help keep hearts running.
Thank you for your support.
