On 3rd November, a number of the Vital Energi team will be taking on a new challenge, with two groups walking up Scafell Pike and Snowdon simultaneously, all to raise funds for Zoe’s Place in Liverpool. I know what you’re thinking… the weather will be perfect for it!

Why are we doing it?

Zoe’s Place, which provides vital care for sick children in Liverpool and the North West, is facing potential closure if they can’t secure enough funds for a new facility. They work closely with Alder Hey hospital, and without Zoe’s Place, these families have nowhere else to go. Moving to a new space is costly, especially with the specialist equipment they need.

Vital Energi look for opportunities to give back to the communities we deliver our low carbon projects in, Liverpool being one of them. Wherever we can, be it through Climate Education session at local primary schools, tidying up community gardens or raising money for worthy local causes, our aim in everything we do is to protect our planet for future generations.
