My name is Vuyo Tengwa and I am a 29 year old male from Wellington, South Africa. I have a 4 year old son and I am currently unemployed due to being laid off about 3 months ago.

I have come to you guys with a big request to start a delivery service within the rural township of Mbekweni, Western Cape, South Africa. The reason I wanted to do this and ask for funding is because as the youth, we are not getting employed in this country and the unemployment rate has been alarming, so I wanted to create a food and delivery service in a township that other delivery companies do not service. 

I have been so passionate about this as my mission would be to take all the small busineses which are producing food or beverages, fruit and vegetables, and create a platform where they are able to buy from each other through this platform to utilize the township economy and assist each other's businesses to grow. 

The company will also market and advertise all these small businesses so that they gain more exposure of people outside the township to buy their products, and we deliver them. 

This is so close to my heart as I know that I will be assisting in growing these small businesses, making my dream come true as a business owner and also make sure that I give back to the community by hiring people from the township.

The impact that this will have not only in my life but the community at large, is that this directly tackles youth unemployment. Every small business owner that is trying to make a living for themselves will be able to gain an audience outside of the township and the whole township to gain access to their products through our company. Most people cannot afford to have their products delivered door to door and this way we will be opening a new market for all small business owners and allow them to grow.

We will be a food and beverage delivery service provider for township-based businesses, stalls, street vendors and non-business owners who sell products within the Food and Beverage Industry to use our service to have their products delivered to their customers which allows all of the above to be able to run their businesses at full potential. We do that by means of registering business owners and non-business owners on the Application based platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp Business and create an online market of the township to deliver their products to their customers.
