Story
The Wallace Wanderers are taking on Bangers & Cash 2026! 🚗🏁
This September, four members of the Wallace Groundworks team will be swapping construction sites for the open road as we take on the Bangers & Cash Lakes & Highlands Rally 2026.
Our team—the Wallace Wanderers—is made up of:
🚗 Pete Wallace – Managing Director
🚗 Sam Wallace – Director
🚗 Nicola Parker – General Manager
🚗 Dan Wallace – Procurement Manager
Together, we’ll be travelling around 950 miles across England and Scotland in a banger that we’re hoping is up to the challenge!
It promises to be an unforgettable few days, with plenty of laughs, questionable navigation and hopefully no breakdowns—but behind all the fun is a cause that means a great deal to us.
We’re raising money in support of Ashgate Hospice, helping them continue providing specialist care and support to patients and families when they need it most.
Our fundraising target is £2,500, and we’d be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. Whether you donate £5, sponsor part of our rally car or simply share our fundraising page, every contribution will help us move closer to our target.
Local businesses can also join us for the journey by sponsoring a space on the Wallace Wanderers rally car. Your logo will travel the full route with us and feature throughout our photographs, videos and social media updates.
Car sponsorship opportunities include:
🚘 Bonnet Sponsor – £500
🕶️ Sun Strip Sponsor – £200
🪟 Rear Window Sponsor – £200
🚪 Door Sponsor – £100
⛽ Fuel Cap or Rear Panel Sponsor – £75
🏁 Front or Rear Bumper Sponsor – £50
✍️ Name, message or dedication on the roof – £10
We’ll be sharing the full journey—from buying and transforming our banger to the rally itself—so keep following our progress to see how we get on.
Thank you for every donation, sponsorship and share. Your support genuinely means a great deal to all of us, and together we hope to raise as much money as possible for an incredible local charity.
Wish us luck—we think we might need it! 😂🚗🏁
