So the Royal Parks Half Marathon falls on my birthday in October & it's a good excuse to fundraise for a cause.

Not that I was expecting my friends to get me a birthday gift, but if you choose to, this is what I want 🙏🏼

My aim is to raise £1000 for War Child UK who provide support for children affected by war around the world. This includes much more but things like:

- preventing child recruitment by armed groups in Colombia

- distributing emergency kits and meals in Lebanon

- mental health support through play and psychological first aid in Burundi, Ukraine and Uganda

- reconnecting children with families or foster homes in the Occupied Palestinian Territories

With everything going on in the world, this feels like a little contribution I can have from my tribe to those affected with unimaginable hardships.
