WE ARE RAISING MONEY BY COMPLETING THIS SPARKLE WALK FOR ASHGATE HOSPICE IN MEMORY OF OUR DAUGHTER, GIRLFRIEND, SISTER, NEICE, COUSIN, FRIEND AND DOWN RIGHT SPECIAL PERSON.

Rebecca was cared for by Ashgate Hospice in her last couple of weeks of her short life, before she moved onto different things at just age 30 following re-diagnosis of a very rare form of cancer.

Many of the people walking this walk witnessed how fantastic all the people at Ashgate were and they provided her with the best care and dignity we could have hoped for and supported us all along the way.

The NHS fund some of the care at Ashgate but it nowhere near meets the cost needs it has to fully staff, resource and continue to deliver their excellent service - that relies on charitable donations.

One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer. That is a scary statistic. No-one gets unscathed by the awful disease by either fighting the disease itself or watching someone we love entering that fight.

Ashgate do not only support people who are at end of life of cancer, they also support a wide range of people in the hospice and the community - and those who are left behind.
