Story
I am Wee Warrior and I'm tackling Ben Nevis to raise awareness and funds for Epilepsy Scotland!
Along with living with Epilepsy myself, I have also learned to walk again at times unaided, at times with walking aids, after a long period of illness and being dependent on a wheelchair.
For safety I will be taking on Scotlands biggest mountain of 4413 feet above sea, with my personal trainer, who is also Epilepsy trained for any emergencies!
Epilepsy Scotland provides valuable support to many, where people can be heard, understood and share their experiences, to name but a few!
A condition many face with impacts unseen, such as fatigue, isolation, memory loss and many more. Epilepsy Scotland supports all and provides a space to share and gain support from others.
Epilepsy Scotland works with people living with epilepsy to ensure that their voice is heard. Around 58,000 people in Scotland live with epilepsy and we are here for anyone with this common serious neurological condition, their families, carers and employers.
We believe that people living with epilepsy have a right to be free from stigma and discrimination, have access to high quality medical, social, educational, support and information services be valued and included in society and determine their own way of life
