Team Westbourne is taking part in the Annual Ride & Stride Plus, a fun day day exploring some of Sussex's unique historic buildings, raising money for both our local church, St John the Baptist Westbourne and the Sussex Historic Churches Trust.

Why do historic buildings need grants?

Many historic churches, chapels and meeting houses are battling to survive. Roofs leak, ancient timbers rot and medieval stonework crumbles.

We are trying to complete the fundraising to have our roof repairs, and are extremely grateful for a grant received from the Sussex Historic Churches Trust.
