Barmouth Beach, WALES

This is one of the UK’s wildest open water swims, a 10km cold water swim near Snowdonia: an upstream 10k swim on an incoming choppy tide as part of a big pod of swimmers. An EPIC Swim! I'm in! Apparently I ONLY need to actually 'swim' 6k.

I haven't swum more than an Ironman Swim (3.8k) in my life EVER and that was nearly ten years ago in flat calm water. Since then I have done alot of open water 'dipping' so
