To help Akenside ward transform their outdoor area into a peaceful, welcoming space for all to enjoy, the staff team are fundraising to improve accessibility of the space, install raised planters and purchase plants and seeds. We hope to develop a social and horticultural therapy program for our patient group, alongside growing fresh produce and cut flowers for the ward.
