Story
We're about to ask you to give some money to a charity that saves lives.
Read on.
This is Will. Will has multiple sclerosis which has changed his life and the lives of his family beyond recognition. In seven years, Will has gone from being an accomplished triathlete to being fully wheelchair dependent and requiring round-the-clock care due to this life-limiting and incurable condition.
But he's still a legend. Always has been. Always will be.
Then there is Sam. Sam is Will's friend and is the source of all stupid ideas and lethally strong cocktails, but we don't need to dwell on that. Anyway, Sam had this idea that they could run the York 10km together and make some money for MS-UK. Well, we say run together. Sam will be doing the running as he pushes Will down cobbled streets in a racing chair.
And then there is Jane. Jane has jumped on the bandwagon and has decided that she wants to come for a run. But we're not going to let her freeload and she's going to have to do her fair share of chair-pushing.
Will has the idea that we can raise ten thousand pounds. Think of it as £10k for 10k, if you will. Sure, it's ambitious. But as they say up north, shy bairns get nowt.
So please donate what you can. We appreciate anything that you can give, we really do. Thank you.
