For the ninth year running, the Local Buyers Club is running the Winter Toy Appeal, giving new toys to children in North and East London who are experiencing financial hardship. The toys are delivered via a network of baby banks, schools, social workers, children’s centres, migrant centres and more to children in most need. It's the third year we've partnered with Hackney Children and Baby Bank, who distribute toys to children in poverty. The appeal is run in partnership with Location Location estate agency. Money donated to this Just Giving page will be used to buy new toys from independent shops in London. So far this year, the appeal has reached more than 4,700 children. Donations made to this page after December 20th will be used to buy toys for next year's appeal (unless we get last minute, emergency referrals this year).
