In August 2024, Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts and Erik Armstrong Explorer Scouts are sending a patrol of Explorers and Young Instructors to Nakuru, Kenya, to volunteer at a School providing free education for the poorest in the local area, who otherwise would not get an education.

Chris, Isabel and Maxwell Wright are all members of the expedition team, and we are fundraising to cover the costs of the expedition, which is part of the challenge. On Friday 28th June we will be undertaking a night hike through central London, covering 50km from the Thames Barrier in the East to P&H Sea Scouts' base in Richmond upon Thames in the West.
