Story
In November 2019, my world changed. My brother took his own life, and the shock and heartbreak that followed were unimaginable. None of us—his family or friends—had any idea of the pain he was carrying. The loss left a hole in our lives that can never be filled.
Pete’s Dragons offered support, understanding, and compassion when I needed it most. They truly understand the devastation that suicide leaves behind—because they’ve been there too.
To give back to this incredible charity, I’ll be running (jogging!) the Weston-super-Mare Half Marathon this October. I’m raising funds specifically for their Youth Summer Camp, which provides vital support to young people affected by suicide.
If you’re able to spare even a couple of pounds, it would mean the world to me—and to Pete’s Dragons. Your donation will help them continue their life-changing work for others who are grieving, just as they helped me.
And if you feel moved to do so, please consider sharing my page link to your friends, family, colleagues, or anyone who might be willing to support this cause. Every share and every donation makes a difference.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Pete's Dragons believes that nobody should face the aftermath of suicide alone. By fundraising and donating to Pete's Dragons, you are creating a network of compassion, and are making it known that you support our vital mission.
