Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. In 2014, my beautiful mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was just 17 at the time, and my sister was 14. We became her carers and watched the strongest woman we know fight this awful disease. Our family life was turned upside down as we both dropped out of school to support her and our family.
Through it all, my mum has shown incredible bravery, generosity, and love. She is a survivor who inspires us every day. Although she lost her breast during her battle, it hasn’t stopped her from living life to its fullest.
She introduced me and my sister to running, a passion that has brought us closer together. Even though she cannot physically run the distance herself, I am determined to participate in the London Marathon on April 26th, 2026, in her honor. I want to give back to Worldwide Cancer Research—a charity that is so close to our hearts.
I have set a target of £2,250 to support this vital cause. Your support can help make a difference in the fight against cancer. Together, let’s honor those we love by contributing towards research that can save lives.
