In April 2025, I will be taking part in The TCS London Marathon to raise money for MS-UK!

While I take on the challenge of running my second marathon I will be raising money to support MS-UK. This is a charity close to my heart, I will be running in memory of my Mum who fought MS gracefully and with so much strength for 18 years.

Running the London marathon has also been a goal of mine to run in memory of my Grandad (Mum’s dad). Grandad was an avid runner, and in 1981 was president of his run club, the Blackheath & Bromley Harriers. Where, I am told, he helped support the organisation of the first London marathon, and continued to support as a marshal for many years after.

Grandad (and Granny) were incredible and helped support mum through the tough times with her MS. It will be an honour to run in their memory in April and I hope to raise as much as I can to help support families living with MS today 💜

MS-UK is a national charity dedicated to empowering people affected by multiple sclerosis to live happier and healthier lives. They work to improve the understanding of MS and provide support where it is needed most.

Their services include a helpline, providing information and emotional support, online activities, information booklets and a bi-monthly magazine New Pathways.
