Story
On Sunday 6th April, I will be running (slowly) the Southampton Marathon for No Limits.
No Limits is a local, independent charity providing a combination of prevention, early intervention and crisis support to children and young people (aged 4-25) in Southampton and across Hampshire. No Limits provide information, advice, counselling and support through a range of services available ‘under one roof’. They meet the needs of the most deprived, vulnerable and isolated young people who often don’t access mainstream services. By supporting across a wide range of issues including substance misuses, sexual health, relationships, mental health, housing, debt and employment they support young people through the transition from adolescence to adulthood, often helping them climb out of, or avoid, social exclusion.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help me hit my fundraising target of £10 for every mile of the marathon! The money you donate will make a real difference in the lives of the children and young people supported by No Limits.
£50 can provide shower and laundry facilities for 10 homeless or sofa surfing young people at our Advice Centre and £120 can pay for 3 hours of 1-1 therapeutic support for a young person.
