Parish Action currently supports nearly 400 orphaned children between 6 and 18 in schools in and surrounding areas but is now faced with the awful prospect of having to take children out of school and leaving them destitute.

Due to of the dollarisation of the economy, school fees have risen this year from £8 a year to nearly £40 a year. As a result Parish Action is looking urgently for new sponsors to pay school fees for its children.

We would therefore like to ask all families in the parish to consider sponsoring one of these orphaned children so that they can stay in school for another year.
