FUNDRAISER: Party for Parkinson’s, remembering mum...
We are organising a charity event to raise awareness amongst the local community about the effects of Parkinson’s Disease. Earlier this year we tragically lost our dear mother to this slow and agonising illness. Until then we had not appreciated the shattering effects that it has on the sufferer and their immediate family and carers. As a family, we have decided to take a positive step in ensuring that other sufferers and their families are more prepared to deal with the difficult and upsetting time that inevitably lies ahead of them.
We would like to invite you to a charity event that we, as a family, are organising to raise money for the Parkinson’s Society whose aims are: to raise awareness of the disease, to fund specialist nurses and to facilitate research into the disease.

Tickets: £25 per person, or £225 for a table of 10
All the entertainment for the evening, ie. traditional and modern Indian music and dance groups have already pledged their acts free of charge. These include act such as Dhol Blasters, Nachda Sansar, Indian Elvis, Mike Garbut from ITV's Britain's Got Talent and more.
Excellent prizes have been generously donated for the auction, these include a luxury holiday in Dubai.
