We at CARE International, fight poverty to help the world’s most vulnerable people.

Story

The concept is simple…..we will be climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours, raising money for CARE International.

Nick Edwards, Lee Manning, Paul Holden, Phil Bowers, Ian Wormleighton, Rob Harding and Claire Keat have "agreed" to participate in this test of endurance and stamina and tackle the 3 Peaks Challenge.

Our Challenge will start on the 6th September with Ben Nevis (1344m), followed in close succession by Scafell (978m) and Snowdon (1085m).

We will be raising money for CARE International UK; Nick is a member of the CARE International UK Finance & Audit Committee . CARE International is one of the world’s top three aid agencies, fighting poverty and injustice in 70 countries around the world and helping 55 million people each year to find routes out of poverty. This year they are aiming to raise over £1 million through fundraising.

CARE's mission is to create lasting change in poor communities and put money where it is needed most: more than 90 pence in every pound CARE receives goes towards their poverty fighting programmes; that’s one of the highest rates among all the UK aid agencies.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CARE International UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
