Hi thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As you may be aware 2006/7 was pretty tough having been diagnosed with tonsil cancer.  It was only the support of Jayne, family & friends and the medical team including Macmillan that kept me going. 

To help repay this support I have foolishly agreed to complete the Great North Run in October.  Training has started but all that chemo/Radiotherapy and a knackered throat is making it much harder that anticipated.  But I will compete and finish even if it kills me!!!!!

The BBC are filming my story to be included in the live BBC1 broadcast on Sunday so look out for Number 44929.

I had a fantastic day, finished in 2hrs 42min and the coverage on the BBC was the icing on the cake.  But never to be repeated.
