We are the MS Society. We are strong enough to stop MS together.

Story

This is your first step in ensuring I have maximum encouragement to run the race of my life, The London Marathon on 13th April 2008, so thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  I am running to raise much needed funds for a charity which is very special to me and my family, the MS Society. Please dig deep and sponsor me here online.

MS is the most common potentially disabling disease of the central nervous system affecting young adults in the Western World. Every week around 50 people in the UK are diagnosed with MS, usually young adults between 20 and 40 years old.  Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life and whilst the cause is not known and a cure is yet to be identified, research continues into all aspects of the condition.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the MS Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. In other words, if you were to sponsor me £100, the MS Society receives £128, but you pay just £100.

So please sponsor me now - your support really will be the thing that carries me to the finish line when my legs are too tired !

Many thanks for your support
