We provide excellence in hospice care to support local children and young adults

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  As some of you will already know on July 13th I am taking part in the 2008 “Le Tours de Tours” Paris to Hayling cycle ride.  We hope to cover 440miles in 6 days starting at St Malo heading off to the Loire via Rennes and Laval onto Tours then back to Caen.

I am doing this to raise much needed funds for the Naomi House Children's Hospice. A place that is very special to me and my family. Our daughter Emma, who sadly passed away aged 10, spent many happy times, including her last few days, at the hospice.  The care and support she and our family received, and still receive, was simply overwhelming and beyond belief.  The hospice has been helping children with life-limiting illnesses and their families in Southern England for over ten years. They are now raising funds to build a new young people's hospice, jacksplace@naomihouse for their children who are growing up and other young adults who need the care of a hospice.  The building project started this week however funds are still required to enable its completion in 18 months time.

All I ask is please dig deep and sponsor me online.  I will do the rest !

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Naomi House Children’s Hospice (Wessex Children's Hospice Trust) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now if you can

Many thanks for your support.

Paul
