Story
Thanks for logging into my JustGiving page.
On 18 & 19 September I completed my cycle challenge from Fort William to Inverness (via Great Glen Way and Fort Augustus) and on to Pitlochry, covering 165 miles in 2 x 6 hour sessions.
The weather was terrible and I enjoyed 10 hours of rain during my 12 hours in the saddle - but had a great time doing it!!
The generosity of donors has been very impressive and much appreciated and I know Alzheimer Scotland can move a little closer to finding a cure for the crippling forms of Dementia and continue to provide support to sufferers and their families!
Unfortunately, my mum passed away on Monday 18th October 2010, after a 4 year battle with Alzheimers and 4 weeks after I completed my cycle so the cause has been made ever more personal.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate what you can now.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Sincerely,
Andrew
