We rescue animals throughout the North East to provide shelter and find new homes

Story

Unfortunately it is at this time of year when many animals are neglected and find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. We would like to help support our local Newcastle Cat & Dog Shelter and Animal Sanctuary during this very busy time of year.

The charity is one of the busiest in the north east, which has the reputation as being the cruelty hotspot of England. The shelter was established in 1896 and the charity cares for 6,000 animals a year, animals that have been neglected, unwanted or abandoned.

When it has not been possible to reunite these animals with their owners, the charity finds new loving homes. Unfortunately animal charity's in the UK do not receive any government funding including the RSPCA. It is down to us to make a difference and every penny counts.

From today We will donate £1 for every single order placed until the 5th of December to Newcastle Cat & Dog Shelter and Animal Sanctuary.

Please could you make a small donation to this very worthy cause and make a difference to hundreds of cats and dogs who will be without homes during the festive season.

Pet-Supermarket hope you can help us to support this worthy cause and reach our target of £5,000 raised which will help assist towards the annual running costs which currently stand at nearly £3/4 million. Every little helps and if you are a UK tax payer the government will add 28% towards your donation, please and offer us your support.

Many thanks for your support.
