This year I have decided to get myself fit and along the way I hope to raise a decent amount of cash in support of Cancer Research UK!

Cancer is something that almost everybody has had to deal with at some point or other in their life. My Granddad passed away over 3 years ago from an aggressive form of Cancer to the Oesophagus. Cancer Reseach helps to find the source of Cancers and to provide effective treatments that can slow down or eradicate completely.  Recently my Nan was diagnosed as having a form of low grade B Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and I am sure that with the help of great charities like Cancer Research UK, my Nan will live to a ripe old age and never be troubled by it.

I plan to take part in several runs throughout the year, culminating in the Great South Run in October, where i will also be joined by many of my work colleagues who are taking up the challenge for their own reasons.
