We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

On Friday 4th February 2011 I will be flying to Africa to attempt to climb Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,895m).

On Sunday 16th April 2011, I will be flying to Kathmandu (I think that's where you fly to) to trek to Mount Everest base camp.

I've booked the trips privately, but am using the opportunity to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

My family has been directly affected by this disease, and I'm sure many people who read this message will have family and friends who also have been affected. Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of cancer research in the UK and the world's largest charity dedicated to cancer research. Through the efforts of charities such as Cancer Research UK, tremendous work is being done to reduce the impact of this disease which devastates so many lives.

If you are able to make a donation, large or small, that would be fantastic - thankyou very much.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Any gifts you can give are very much appreciated - thankyou. And wish me luck!
