The Meningitis Research Foundation is helping to fund research into treatment as well as prevention and detection of meningitis.  Beren died even though she was in hospital and getting the best attention that is currently available.  The Foundation also provides invaluable help and support to the bereaved left behind after such a tragic and sudden event.
